Iraq Apology
: :  Why  : :
The 'Iraq Apology' initiative is designed to empower users to facilitate the process of establishing social and emotional repair for, to and from those affected directly and indirectly by the conflict in Iraq. This initiative is meant to allow users to have an impact independent of their government's actions.
: :  How  : :
Essentially, users are taking a poll and becoming signatories at the same time. A multiple choice format is used to select options regarding:
• Who they wish to apologize on behalf of - themselves, their country, their government, sorry but don't apologize, etc...
• Who they want to apologize to - Iraqi civilians, Muslims in general, the world, families of dead soldiers, etc...
• What they want to apologize for - deaths of Iraqi people, loss of security, the initial invasion, staying too long, etc...
: :  Results  : :
The results of the poll/signatory list will be presented on our new platform, “Sentence Variable Statistical Graphics” (SVSG). Essentially, this allows the user to change parts of a sentence, via pull-down menus, to generate graphical comparative data. Users can edit some of the variables including: gender, geographic location, political preferences and religious affiliation. Users can edit their answers as often as they like. The results of this intiative will be presented to the United Nations, other official institutions as well as private organizations and individuals.
